And talking about real life racing goldenfri, went to my first autocross yesterday in my miata, and boy is gt5 nothing like real life racing, hahaha. Granted I was using my all season Falken 912's since I didn't want to get better tires for my first time. But I had a tough time feeling the level of grip, or lack thereof. Had a great time nonetheless.
haha yea autocrossing with all seasons is MUCH different than GT5. Mostly because there is no grip.  ;D

It felt equivalent to comfort hards at times and I experienced alot of oversteer under braking and was not familiar with countersteering such a large wheel. The G25 wheel is quite small and easy to countersteer compared to the monster sized stock miata wheel. I'll be returning with some better street tires next time though.

Hey I am still here and will be back in the mix soon. Did I make the Championship?  Ha Ha Ha.

Racecar and Zute have done a fantastic job.

Agent, autocross takes some skill, it's hard to know if you are going fast in a run. If you feel like you are really working the car hard it's usually a slower time.

Yup, I agree, and I was working the car too much, or the car was actually working me, hahaha.

Mudd lives!  I havn't been nearly as active on GT5 over the latter half of summer, but I would like to start running in here again soon. I've got one week left in physical therapy, which is before work on Monday mornings, hence the reason I've been gone to sleep while you guys have been racing. :D I'm feeling better and actually quite motivated with my new fitness régime, I don't plan to spend nearly as much time gaming, but the racing in LZ is easily been my favorite, so I'll be keeping tabs.

It looks like we at least have enough interest to continue for another series.

I will get the final details worked out. They will be some where around the specs listed in the OP.

For the next Series I was thinking of going back to the old LZ formula. This series may have been too intense and it pushes the limit of the PSN. Lets go back to 3 classes, shorter races and more car selection. Here is what I have in mind :

C Class: FWD
PP:410
Tires: Sport Med
Production Cars Only - No race cars, concepts, or RM's

B Class: AWD/4WD
PP:500
Tires: Racing Hard
Production Cars Only - No race cars, concepts, or RM's

A Class: RWD (Front or Mid Engine)
PP:550
Tires: Racing Soft
Production Cars Only - No race cars, concepts, or RM's

That leaves a lot of room for car selection and hopefully will make for some good racing.
