Thanks for the pictures Jeff. If … the Ford Racing School runs the owners program I’ll have to try to steal a ride!

I’ve not driven the Renault so have no idea. I did run a little in the MX-5 last night and it seemed to drive well after a few adjustments. Either one. I dod like the inverted starts .. just wish there was an easy way to do that .. what we do works.

I think it was Jeff that commented that the 40 minutes goes by pretty fast … and I would agree with that! Big thumbs up to everyone I was around last night .. hard racing but very clean. A lot of position swaps! My issue was I just tapped someone going into turn 1 which bent the wing and I lost a lot of speed. Out by myself I could go nowhere. Had to wait for Jon & Jeff to catch up thhen I could run decent behind them, give them some competition in the corners but give it all up in the straight. Should be good practice for official races with the exception you don’t know what the people around you might do where in our races , most of the time, you have a pretty good idea and a level of trust you don’t have in official rooms. I think the race craft level has greatly improved in the entire group. Just good fun to be in a battle with someone for most of the 40 minutes!

I was good until 3 laps from the end! Don’t know where my damage on the front wing came from but reduced lap times to where I could not catch Sloan and Jeremy was catching me … then the touch and I flipped, ended up on my side and had to tow to pits which put me laps down. A little confused on the start as I was 7th maybe in practice .. then it showed 3rd on the grid? Clean laps set grid maybe? I pretty much ran the same pace as I had in practice, just seemed to be able to run it pretty consistent during the race. Surprised at how quick the 40 minutes went by! Fun!

Still had some issue with the ‘S’ bar after the graphics card upgrade. Talked with Randy last night prior to the LX session about the issue and he suggested making sure all the AMD drivers were gone. The AMD Catalyist Center was still on the computer as I could not get rid of it. Did a search and found out what I needed to do to remove it … did so and restarted the computer. Ran the 2 hour LZ session and had 0 issues … so thank you Randy for the trouble shootng tips! I’ll do some clean up today and hopefuly be good to go from here on out!

Thank you, I appreciate it. Don’t know for sure where the pace came from .. guess I like the car, liked the setup and have always liked the track. Sorry for the bump Allen .. I saw you go a little wide so I went for it. Speed was just a touch to fast to get the turn I wanted or I got on the gas to much trying to clear you. Strange that the replay shows me making a quick jerk to the right with steering wheel which I think was from contact with the right front wheel maybe .. not sure. We had some other corners where I tried to get you but gave it up in the interest of both of us finishing. It was a fun race, I worked hard and was very sweaty when it was done. Kind of funny how I block out all the chatter from the rest of the field during that race. Had to ask Jon what went on as I had no clue.
Need to watch out next Wednesday as I will be a year older and even more coy!!
