It is time to open discussion about next season.
No, we are not running 12 weeks of the Ring. LOL
I’m not sure if any content is going to be released or not.
So, let’s talk about it.

LimeRock was a good show!
This week will be Road Atlanta Short.December 28, 2015 at 10:28 am #2519KreepnSlayerParticipant
That was a blast last night!!!! Allen and I both hit Russ when he spun. I got meatballed and spun it trying to get back around to the pits, but after the caution I was able to catch back up and run back up through the field. I loved working to pass Jeremy and Alex. I’m telling you, for me that makes it so much more enjoyable.
Allen didn’t pit to fix his damage, which ended up slowing him down quite a lot and I was able to catch him. From there I did my best to just stay with him and look for a good opportunity to get around him but he was driving awesome even with a busted car. I finally had to make a move and I think it took a complete lap to get it done. From there though he was right on me, and on the last lap we went through the last couple turns side by side! What a finish!
Great racing everyone!December 28, 2015 at 12:16 pm #2520
Great racing, Bryan! That was an exciting race with some crazy wheel to wheel action. I thought for sure we were going to take each other out! Fun clean battle.December 29, 2015 at 7:39 pm #2522

This past week at Road Atlanta Short was insane! My pace was a little slow, and I ran out of gas, but I had some excellent wheel to wheel battles…..all except one ended well. Sloan and I went through the chicane at least 5 times side by side with what seemed like inches between the cars. Sadly there was contact heading out of the chicane, but it was amazing racing. We may be dysfunctional, but we sure are clean racers!January 6, 2016 at 6:42 pm #2531

That was an exciting race last night. I need to go back and check the replay to see how many lead changes there were during that race. It was insane! Flirting 3 and 4 wide into turn 1. Filling others mirrors trying to force a mistake. Wheel to wheel draft freaking action! Just insane.
Congratulations Russ! Fun battling with you and great clean racing!
Everyone raced with major respect out there. I hated seeing Mike spin it. Him and Larry were running great and I was expecting one of them to battle for the win.
Good times!January 7, 2016 at 11:48 am #2542ldsisoldParticipant
I think it was Jeff that commented that the 40 minutes goes by pretty fast … and I would agree with that! Big thumbs up to everyone I was around last night .. hard racing but very clean. A lot of position swaps! My issue was I just tapped someone going into turn 1 which bent the wing and I lost a lot of speed. Out by myself I could go nowhere. Had to wait for Jon & Jeff to catch up thhen I could run decent behind them, give them some competition in the corners but give it all up in the straight. Should be good practice for official races with the exception you don’t know what the people around you might do where in our races , most of the time, you have a pretty good idea and a level of trust you don’t have in official rooms. I think the race craft level has greatly improved in the entire group. Just good fun to be in a battle with someone for most of the 40 minutes!January 7, 2016 at 1:38 pm #2543
Wow, what a race! Starting at the back with Mike and Allen made for a very interesting race as we picked our way to the front. From the start until the caution we were 3-4-5 wide everywhere we could. It was amazing racing, very close together and very cleanly. Bryan had commented how from a few car lengths back it looked crazy “up there”. Although it was a simple track, it was wide enough to allow multiple lines in, and through, corners and it made it possible to really race hard. Major props to everyone for clean racing!
Thanks Allen! You, Mike and I were really mixing it up for a while. I have to admit, at the white flag when you said “the gloves are off”….I thought I was a goner! I got a great run into the final corner and when you entered a little wide, only at that point did I know I was going to win. Otherwise, I was convinced you would pull it out at the line. We had raced 7 plus laps trading places going into and coming out of the final corner so I have no clue how it was going to work out.
Excellent work guys!!January 7, 2016 at 9:35 pm #2544coopinwpgParticipant
I agree guys, that was a great race last night! Lots of close racing. I think Larry nailed it, the group has definitely improved and the Skippy really does showcase the talent.
I thought my race was totally effed when I had the glitches on lap two that then destroyed my lap tracking/timing. The sim did not register my time on lap two and then ended up registering me as a lap down! Man I was pissed at that. FFS I was technically in first place at one point! Fortunately, thanks to some good racing and a timely yellow I came back from last place to finish 3rd. Thanks to you all for a clean and exciting race! Looking forward to next week!January 14, 2016 at 8:05 am #2574
Congratz Bryan on the win. That was an intense race for me. Seemed I was racing someone nearly every lap. Sorry Jeff for getting into the back of you. Thankfully it didn’t damage your car. I’m happy with finishing 4th after having to pit.
Now on to the GP course at the Ring.January 21, 2016 at 4:58 pm #2603KreepnSlayerParticipant
Man that was a crazy race last night. The first 6 laps or so were REALLY intense. I could feel something building because we just weren’t getting any separation from the pack and I figured at some point something was going to happen. So I eased up on lap 8, slowed my run down the front straight and whamo!!! there was some smoke and spinning ahead of me! I’m sure it was Randy’s fault! LOL I know he was in it because his car was JACKED after it. He’s had all sorts of bad luck this series. I think its all gone to me because I’ve been doing pretty well this series.
After the caution I was behind Jon and Jeff with Sloan hot on my heels. Sloan fought hard and got by me. It was an awesome move and I had to really battle to get it back. I caught Jeff and we ran side by side for a corner or two but being the gracious lover he is he didn’t battle too hard and I chased down Jon. Jon can make a car really wide, that’s for sure. I’m glad he didn’t use his B button though and I was able to get by him.
Allen had picked up some damage and ended up fighting Jon really hard. I was glad for this as they were BOTH catching me at the end.
Fun race guys! Contrats to the rest of the podium.
