I did some testing last night as well. I didn’t think to try SS, but did try RS and RH (CLass A). It seems obvious the safe strategy is to go RS. If you know enough and test enough for a specific event, the other tires might let you skip pit stops and have some advantage. On the other hand tire abusers are going to be in big trouble on RS 🙂
For some of us (me anyway) the bigger difference will be controlling a 690pp car on less than racing softs!
This is all based on an hour of testing so what do I know 🙂
I prefer to see the game reward the use of racing hard.
