The F1 is a good time, just need to give it room to stretch it's legs.

I am nowhere near "fast" with it, but it is quick and really sticks to the road, making it a pretty enjoyable drive.

That race was actually more fun than I thought it would be while we were practicing.

Yea, 1st and 2nd are kind of dangerously useless without zen like throttle control or grandma driving. 3rd is still risky. Low speed corners are a terror therefore...

Ah HA! Perfect on an OVAL! Thanks for helping me understand that!

That greasy fun fun session was a good time. I enjoyed it.
I agree with you Jeremy that the F1 car would make for a fun time. No fog though!! Like you say Alex, the first few gears are dicey, but one up to speed that car is so insanely awesome in the corners! Mind boggling traction.
I would totally do an oval, but maybe with a chicane thrown in to mix it up?? 😉

If you don't go for it at every corner of every lap, what's the point?!

Kinky oval of some sort? What would you suggest?

I like slow cars on small tracks and fast cars on big tracks.

One of the ovals with a chicane. Like Daytona maybe, with the whole oval used, but the bus stop kept in to spice it up. I think that would be fun. 😯
The passing and drafting would be exciting.

Unfortunately they don't give us that Daytona layout option. We have bike, road, short and oval - none of which would fit what we are looking for.

Twin ring motegi has the "west" layout which is basically 2 long straights. I tried it and did not find it fun at all but in a race setting it might work? I kind of doubt it but I don't know.

We have Watkins Glen classic which is a little more than an oval.

New Hampshire has a wild roval option.

Irwindale has the figure-eight 🙂

Pocono has a triangle-oval but I don't have the track to try it.

Tested New Hampshire roval and it is cool. More of a straight + carousel + raggedy road course stuck together than anything that feels like an r/oval. The road section goes outside of the oval instead of inside, so it is kind of fun.

Radical is really fun on there. The F1 is ok'ish. Actually I can't find much that I like the F1 on - still open to ideas.

For this week, if we are running the night track I strongly suggest just having a practice session of the race so everyone can get warmed up. It's a doozy.

That is very sensible. Where are the night settings for the track btw?
