Crappy outing for me last night. >:(

Thunderstorms messing with my connection.

I was right behind Clip and Coop after 7 laps and running good times. Got too confident and got caught pushing too hard on Turn 2.

DAMN IT!!!!!! >:( >:(

I did run a 1:19.002 though, so a 1:18.xxx isn't out of the question. 8)

That was some bad luck with the connection problems! But, the times you were running are very promising! I look forward to the Sunday race! I think you can definately get into the 1:18's, IF you can keep it on track which I'm sure you will.

Hey all you sim racers! The real (slow) racer is back! Lots of late nights prepping 2 cars over the past few weeks. Both races we finished with the car running. One of the cars got a bit crumpled. In both races we had a greatly under powered vehicle compared to the pack.  But it was fun! Sim racing actually taught me the Glen really well. iRacing does not show the elevation changes like it is in real life and since I was running the Glen in faster cars on iRacing, I had one corner shift pattern wrong and it slowed me up. I was able to do the Glen - classic boot - in 2:42. If I had the shift right in turn 12, I could have broke into the 2:30s. We got passed like we were standing still on the Glen. We had maybe the only non-cheating car at the Glen race.

Results (like it matters)
'68 MGB GT (60 hp) 15 hour race over two days: 65/121 Monticello NY (lemons)
'87 BMW E30 (120 hp) two 7.5 hour races: #1 65/91, #2 55/91 Watkins Glen NY (chump)

I have a interview for a new job this evening at 7:30. I am expecting it to be about 1 hour and I should be able to get online around 9pm EST. I now have FIOS and 50/25 Mb service! This will be my first time on since my car work/race stuff. But an update should be quick. I have done a number of Daytona races in the MP4 and should be confident in the car. Anyone got a recent decent setup for Daytona road? Are we running day or night?

It is a wrap. Whoa, snuck up on me I guess!

1   Jonathon Cooper   237
2   Randy Cherry      201
3   Jeremy Wagner   171
4   Alex Tabony      108
5   Scot Crowner      67
6   David Dupea      23

Good job folks. This season was not the best showing for me although I ended up in the right place anyway, Last two races were fun but my 2 month break was not good for my skills :)

Thanks all for racing. Let's get some buzz going for our next season!

Good Job Coop!

I would like to have been a little more competitive but Coop and Randy were on a different level this series. Hopefully I can get better and keep up next time.

We could or I could give u the tunes.. plus you only need 2 tuned cars for the entire 8 races.
