I vote skippy, but will happily run Renault if Jeremy decides the Skippy sucks.November 30, 2017 at 9:57 am #3167
Now that we have additional dudes, now would be a nice time to use mixed class racing.
5 teams, 2 drivers
1 faster driver a d 1 slower driver

My vote for open wheel is Skippy. It’s a great car for training car control, not over powered, and not a ton of aero.December 1, 2017 at 8:39 am #3170
And no setup changes needed once you find a setup you like!December 1, 2017 at 12:00 pm #3172

I think that there was a ton of good pack racing last Wednesday. Brian and I ran nose to tail for almost 25 minutes until he backed into me on turn one. I should most likely be giving up my points for that move.
It also looked/sounded like there was some good racing throughout the race for a lot of the positions.
I personally think that car is a ton of fun and good departure from the 5 years of GT3 we have been running.
The finish was very close and Allen could have passed me on the straight the previous laps but decided to attempt to take my position on the final turn/front straight. He was unsuccessful so I was gifted a win.December 18, 2017 at 12:05 pm #3187
I agree, Randy. The Skippy provides a good amount of draft to keep things interesting. Seemed there was quit a bit of pack racing of 3 or more cars taking place. That’s a win in book regardless of position. Racing is normally more enjoyable when battling it out!

Another good season wraps up today. Really enjoyed the skippy again this time, sad to see it go. I might just have to keep driving her in official races.
Congrats to Mike for the season win and for being so damn good in this car. My hat is off to your fine driving skills!March 1, 2018 at 1:13 pm #3284
