Road Warrior Series (Official)
on: Feb 2, 10:37 am

I created a Road Warrior page.

http://lzracing.com/iracing-series/2015-season-1-road-warrior-series/

Sebring 12 Hour sounds like a breeze compared to the Daytona 24 🙂

I'm in for all of them.

Any interest in trying the HPD for any of these?

It would take twice as many people unless we go without spotters.

Also, there's a problem with the HPD for Sebring....if you get damaged and lose the front clip you'll lose your headlights. At a night race that would be difficult.

EDIT: iRacing is talking about switching Sebring to a day race.

Need 3 drivers per car as a minimum. Very possible.

i agree, and if its only 21 hours during the day that would be pretty easy.

??? If the 12 hours of Sebring turns into 21 hours of driving there must be a ton of warm up and caution laps...LOL

Russ makes a valid point. Easy math here, Randy! 3 drivers, 4 hours total per driver, 2 hour seat time per run.

So wait, 3 drivers, 4 hours driving, 2 hours of sitting, that's like 18 hours?!

Okay, so now that we have our math lessons out of the way.....what about spotters? Are we saying 3 drivers/spotters per car. If you're not driving you're either spotting or on stand by? 3 people per car? If so, then you're committing 12 hours to the race pretty much non stop.

I think arranging spotters for the GT3 cars will be a bigger focus. Once the field stretches out the HPD guys might not need a spotter as much.
